After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Textile Design and Marketing from UNCG in 2001, Briann joined the mortgage industry and sold FHA, VA and traditional mortgages. In 2006, she transitioned to a construction and new development company to oversee their marketing department. While in this role, she simultaneously obtained her real estate license. In 2008, Briann earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Mary Baldwin University. Post-commencement, she was hired by Twiddy & Company. From 2009 to 2014, Briann was promoted from Guest Services to Owner Services, and ultimately took on a role bridging Twiddy’s Owner Services and Marketing Departments. In this role, she managed large and special projects, such as the owner newsletter and annual production of Twiddy’s rental brochure. In 2014, Briann accepted a teaching position at Kitty Hawk Elementary School, as she felt it important to give back to the OBX community for a few years. Briann rejoined Twiddy & Company in 2023 to work in the Sales Department and is enjoying her 18th year as a licensed broker. As an Outer Banks native, she has lived in Nags Head, Wanchese, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores and Corolla. There are no areas covered by the local MLS that she is unfamiliar with. Briann enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and feels strongly about the importance of integrity and professionalism in the industry. With Briann’s background in marketing and property management, she is able to offer unique insight into our market, and has an unparalleled ability to go above and beyond in marketing listings. Briann enjoys volunteering for “A Room at the Inn,” and “Ruthie’s Kitchen.” She loves going to the beach, as well as boating, but is also an avid equestrian. When she is not in the office, you’ll often find her on the water, or enjoying time with her horse, family members, and friends.
