“We had visited in Duck at the beginning of October 2025 as part of an exploration for moving to North Carolina from Santa Fe, New Mexico. We stopped at Twiddy Realty and met Mitzi there before heading home. This established an excellent relationship that allowed us successfully to select and purchase our cottage at the beach, closing last January 2026.
Mitzi maintained contact with us across the two-thousand miles, providing continual updates on potential properties and taking us on tours with FaceTime, until we finally selected our cottage. She also arranged consultations with local contractors that extended through the due-diligence process. Mitzi has a sound understanding of the local real estate market and provided honest opinions of the several candidate properties that corresponded to our very particular conditions of location and features (e.g., oceanside, not near Highway 12, etc.). She arranged for our legal representation, survey, inspections, insurance and all the other matters needing our attention.
