Recently, my wife and I had the absolute pleasure to work with Hunter on the purchase of an investment property in the Whalehead Beach section of Corolla. We are not from the area and this is our first investment property in the Outer Banks. “My wife and I had no plans to buy a second home until the second week of June of this year while spending our annual two-week vacation in Buck Island. It was not even remotely on our radar. Every year we would always rent a home in Buck Island and create wonderful family memories. Acquaintances of ours placed their beautiful Buck Island home on the market in April having decided to move to Florida. We had always loved this home and even rented it a few times until they made it their permanent residence in 2017. We had been invited to a cocktail party that second week in June at their home and were blown away by all the renovations they had made. We became reacquainted with several of their neighbors. I'm known as a "tough grader" and have high expectations of those who work for me and expect excellence, especially when it comes to patient care. Hunter Davis is an outstanding professional and human being. My wife and I can say with reasonable certainty that this sale would have never happened without her. She did everything in her power to smooth out the many bumps in the road that we encountered and helped facilitate our transition from potential buyer to owner. She was incredibly responsive any time we communicated by email, text, or phone. She made you feel like you were her most important client and always with a smile and positive disposition.
